In 1988, Erdal began his career as an electrician. He still remembers the moment that sparked his interest in the trade. “My parents had an electrician working at their dry cleaning shop when I was in secondary school. Watching him bring the machinery to life when he switched everything on was nothing short of magic, and that’s when I knew this was the path for me,” he says.

After ten years of hands-on experience, working on everything from the Channel Tunnel to Euro Disney Paris, Erdal made a life-changing decision. He transitioned into the dry cleaning industry when his parents were ready to sell their shop. “I knew I’d be away a lot, working on distant sites, and my wife wasn’t too fond of that. When the opportunity to run the family business came up, I took the plunge. It was a shift that set the stage for everything that followed.”

Though he built a highly successful chain of high-end dry cleaners, his heart never left the electrical world. “I focused my energy on the business side of things, building something special, but my heart and mind were always with the electrical trade,” Erdal shares. His experience in the customer-driven dry cleaning industry taught him invaluable lessons in service, quality, and attention to detail.

His son, Adnan, is joining him in this new venture, and he is an experienced electrician who has worked in the industry for over 12 years. The father-son partnership brings a fresh dynamic to the business, with both Erdal and Adnan sharing the same core values. Adnan followed my dreams and is now bringing his modern approach to the company,” says Erdal. “After 8 years working on sites, we have a great relationship. I believe this partnership will be a blessing for the company.”

That same sense of trust and collaboration also extends beyond family. Jayden, a close friend of Adnan’s and a long-standing colleague, has become a key member of the team.

Jayden joined Fahri Electricians London after working alongside Adnan on several projects. Over time, their working relationship evolved into a close friendship, which eventually led to Jayden becoming part of the extended Fahri family.

With over 10 years of experience in the electrical industry, Jayden brings a strong technical background, particularly in industrial and commercial environments. His early years were spent learning the ropes at Dungeness B nuclear power station, where he developed a methodical, safety-first mindset that still defines his approach today. Jayden’s role in the business is wide-ranging: from testing and installation to supervision and client communication. His calm, methodical style ensures that every job is approached with precision and care. “I ask the right questions because I want the right result,” he explains.
